Going by the Air Max Zero, the sneaker was originally drafted during Hatfield’s process of creating the Air Max 1.
What the current Nike designers did was create the sneaker in the sketch with modern Nike tech from the Ultra sole to the mesh and hyperfuse upper.
Absent since its Air Max Day 2015 debut, the sneaker is now ready for a second drop for this year’s Air Max Day. The colorway for the drop is taken from Hatfield’s original sketch in a shade of yellow against white with blue and black elements.
